The Labradoodle and Goldendoodle are a fascinating and unique breed which has been bred in this country since around 1970, a result of The Guide Dog Association implementing Research and Breeding programs in search of an allergy friendly Guide Dog.
Because of their unique coats, both breeds usually have no body odor, they do not require constant bathing and brushing, and rarely if ever, attract fleas which is great for all types of owners. They are proving to be ideal for asthma and allergy sufferers, as wool and most fleece coat Both dog breeds rarely shed. Some who have a hair textured coat will shed, so therefore are less likely to be suitable for allergy sufferers.
